Any arguments about the "moral superiority" of either government is much
like asking whether Jerry Falwell is morally superior to Sun Yung Moon.

The point is that both governments have serious faults that must be corrected.
We are Americans (rather, citizens of the United States; Salvadorans are
Americans, too), and we supposedly have power over our government - use all
the power at your disposal to change the government for the better
(e.g., demonstrating against giving guns to ex-Somositas to kill
					    ex-Somosistas to install a new
Somoza in Nicaraugua).

Yelling "nyahh, we're better than they are!" reminds me of little kids
arguing about which has the better set of army men.
It may in fact be true, but is not of primary importance in our actions
as citizens.
