What happened to all the avid bridge players out there?
Did I scare you all off with my Blue Club stuff?

I just got back from New Orleans where I (among other
pleasures) played in the ABA nationals--on a very good
team--we came in 2nd in the 2 session Swiss.  Yes, my
partner and I played Blue Team.

I am also going to the ACBL nationals there in July;  I
have an extraordinary team then:  Oswald Jacoby being
a team member.  He's over 80 now, but still a lot sharper
than many a fourth his age.  It will be interesting to
play Blue Club on a team with one of the founders of Standard
American.
