Not giving away too much about the plot: the character of T. Covanent is a leper. My question to those knowlegable people out there who have read the books; are Donaldson's facts about leprosy straight (meaning accurate?) I've asked people about whether when treated is it still contageous or not. Their answer is no; treatment causes the leprosy to become "dry" leprosy. Is this so? glad i'm not from california, D.
