While I'm not a one-night-stander myself, I have noticed that this group
occasionally seems composed mostly of people who want to leave it.

I don't, and I recall others saying so too, but we seem to be a minority.
Maybe a discussion of "Why do people want to get married when, finally,
society doesn't force them to?" is relevant here...
