Why do people on this newsgroup always talk about long--term relationships
and marriage?  Because (a) they WANT to talk about such things and
(b) the problems are percieved as being caused by singleness.
If you feel that there is an alternative approach, or that the problems
discussed are not you problems, fine; by all means, feel free to pursue
your goals.  Please don't be too disappointed if not everyone shares
your approach.  Oh, and please read, digest, absorb and assimilate,
T. S. Eliot's ``The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock''.
And remember, singles die younger -- especially men.
