Why bother with vows that SOME of us consider SERIOUS, if you're going to blow them off (along with your partner, and I don't mean physically) in some given period of time. Seems like a big problem nowdays, the attitude of "well, we'll try it, and if it works, ok, but if it doesn't, what the heck, there's always divorce, and someone else out there!". Whew! What happened to the attitudes of afew (>10?) years ago, when people made a "vow" (commitment, whathaveyou) that it actually MEANT something!
