Concerning "do you ask?" (yale-com.123):

     I always ask.  If neither of us are "prepared", I can (and will)
wait until one or the other of us does something about it.  I also bring
up the "what if ..." of pregnancy (before the fact).  I don't sleep
with people until I really care about them, and I consider pregnancy
a VERY important issue in a relationship.  I do not want the responsibility
of children for several more years (but won't avoid the issue if the Fates
decide otherwise).
     In my own experiences, I have known only one young lady that wasn't
on the pill (and she had only recently decided to stop taking them).
     For all of you people that keep count of such things, I'm twenty-four.


Concerning "birth control device effectiveness rates" (brunix.2265):

	I thought I was well informed on birth control methods, but I
give up:  What is a MINI-PILL??
