What to do? Well, how about just being yourself? If you do, and you get their attention, things might possibly work out. If they don't like your response, they probably won't like YOU. I know this is simplistic, but I think it's generally true. Most of my experience has been on the other end - I have submitted "profiles" to the Living Single magazine here in Columbus. I answer most of the replies. I find myself leaning more towards the ones who seem to genuinely like what I've said about myself (a good sign!), and the ones that show a sense of humor. I'm turned off by the ones that show they obviously didn't read my profile very closely, and the ones who seem desperate. If anyone would like more info on my experiences with this, let me know.
