As a matter of fact, I believe that I could make a good case for the (my) position, that one should (morally) expect the man to take more responsibility for worrying about birth-control, as he suffers the lesser consequences of conception. Why? Because my morals say, that when another suffers under the consequences of my actions, I am responsible, at least, in part. And if a voluntary joint undertaking (sex) exposes the other party to a higher risk, my morals say that I should make the greater effort that nothing goes wrong. Did I make myself clear enough? If there was an unproblematic method of birth-control for men (short of abstinence) I would certainly like to use it. And if there was a way to make sure no VD is passed, I'd rather have the means to make sure myself, too. But back to reality .....
