    A shockingly large number of women who are frequently in situations
    where they might get pregnant (but probably don't want to admit it)
    NEVER keep any form birth control with them, and, perhaps knowing
    that the guy won't ask, later conveniently have a scapegoat to dump
    the blame on if they discover themselves pregnant in need of an
    abortion.

    Perhaps these women minimize bad feelings about themselves because
    carrying some method of birth control with them would make them feel
    "loose" (not having rid themselves completely of prehistoric sexual
    codes) -- and the guilt resulting from occasionally having to destroy
    partially formed babies in their wombs can be conveniently dumped on
    some jerk who didn't have the guts to ask...

    In fact, I usually do ask, and will wait until another time (by the
    way -- this usually really pisses women off) rather than take the
    risk of having to destroy a unfortunately created human.

    Of course, I could carry diaphragms or creams/dispensers around
    with me (would YOU use them ?) I'd rather wait than use prophylactics,
    though...
