This seems the right time for a funny story, with my dear partner's permission:

On our first date, Carl and I went to see the Star Trek blooper reels (how
romantic!).  On the way home, he stopped and parked and put his arms around
me and hugged me, and then said "there's something I'd like to do, but I don't
know if it's ok..."  I knew he meant 'kiss me' so I said "I think it's
just *PERFECTLY* ok" but he kept saying "oh, I don't know" so finally I
grabbed him and kissed him anyway.  He tells me he is not sorry.

Personally, I come under the classification of "agressive female" when
beginning a relationship; but once it's started, it should be half-and-
half (and indeed, it is).
