When I took the training course for our county crisis hotline, we had a sheet
called the suicide checklist that sat right beside our list of resource
clergy, &c.).  We listened to the caller and checked off the traits or
symptoms he exhibited and if he had X of the traits he was considered
suicidal.  It was then our job to notify authorities and try to pry the
caller.

Is anyone familier with such a formal list?  I looked for a copy of mine
to submit but I don't seem to have one anymore.
