Amidst all the upset, I wanted to just say that Claire read all the letters
you sent; she said there were something like 50 (wow!  I almost can't believe
that myself) and that they were helpful.  Briefly, she is doing better; is
in counseling, seems still depressed but improving, and no longer talks of
death.  It'll be a long haul still, but I think she'll pull through.  she
just needed to know someone cared; and you all came through for her, and
she didn't know how to thank you.  I don't either.  Bless you (with God or
otherwise) -- you are living proof that man is basically wonderful.
