Concerning <mclinden@rutgers>'s comments about the user being free to bind
whatever function he wants to whatever key:

The name ASCII is an acronym, standing for 'American STANDARD
Code for Information Interchange.' Somehow, I can't quite reconcile
the idea of a STANDARD info-interchange code with the user's being
able to play jiggery-pokery with the meanings of the codes...
