Article-I.D.: ihuxx.383 Posted: Fri Mar 25 14:35:19 1983 Received: Sat Mar 26 12:27:02 1983 Reply-To: ignatz@ihuxx.UUCP (Dave Ihnat, Chicago, IL) This is a work-related query: Has anyone out there added options to the termlib routines to support line graphics and color terminals? This would consist of defining the mnemonics, and modifying the routines to accept/honor arguments, etc. Note that the purpose of this note is to prevent a Tower-of- Babel syndrome; if there's a widely used modification, we don't want to define our own. On the other hand, if you've got one, but it's a home-brew, we'd like to look at it, but no guarantee we'd use it as-is. Correspondingly, if you have any views on how this should be implemented, I will welcome comments *via Mail*. Finally, notice that this will be used in proprietary software; so, if you've a modified package but corporation XYZ owns it, *please* don't send it to me. (Basically, if it comes under UNIX(Tm) source license, we're ok.) Thanks, Dave Ihnat Bell Labs Naperville, IL ihuxx!ignatz
