My Datsun also came with Bridgestone tires.  Now that you mention it,
they are rotten in the rain.  I've had some bad skids while braking 
which could probably be blamed on the tires.  Road handling capability is 
also not good, the car will not hold the road on curves at more than 
cautious speeds.
