Rick,
	I have Bridgestone Potenzas on my supra and have no
complaint.  I think you can discount a good number of complaints
you've seen here on the net.  ("my new car has bridgestones and
it skids a lot when it rains"  is hardly an objective or conclusive
evaluation).  I still check out my tires regularly though.
By the way, what made you choose the Maxima over the twin cam six
Cressida.

p.s. my car has horrible traction on ice and snow.  posi-trac,
high torque, and fat tires are a bad combo for winter driving.
