Actually, right now there is a difference between mens' and womens'
physical prowess, but the difference is getting smaller every day
now that women are actually being reinforced when they go into
sports, and their track and field times are going down MUCH FASTER than
the mens' are...so pretty soon, lets hope, we won't need the separate
mens/womens classifications.  Also, the real reason we need best actor/actress
classifications is obvious.  With only one, the women wouldn't ever win
anything in this sexist society.
