So you want to know how to open the clam?...

Well, I won't tell you, but I'll give you a broad hint.  You are supposed
to pry it open.  Now, what object is most like a pry bar?

You also don't know where else to go...

If you've really gone everywhere and snarfed all the treasures, why then,
you're finished.  If you've gone everywhere, seen every treasure, and
had the pirate take at least one of them, then the pirate's chest should
have appeared.  Once you have all 350 points, then you get into the endgame.
