Burgess Merideth became famous after Son of Blob?  Oh come now.
He won an Oscar (or was at least nominated) in the late 30's
or early 40's for his roll in "Winterset".  He was very well known
and respected before most of the cast was born.

Speaking of Larry Hagman, as you were, what relationship exists between
him and a character named Nanny?  This is obscure and convoluted, and
on a par with bad puns, but not that hard.  Answer in a few days if I don't see it here first.  (Mail of course is preferred to posting.)
