Does anyone have any new methods for destroying the slug population in
my backyard.  One restriction, I have a dog who must not fall victim to
the slug destruction method.  I have tried "deadline" with some success.
It kills slugs by dehydration when they come to it (it has the subtle 
flavor that slugs love).  This has not however eliminated the entire pop-
ulation.  Since the garden will be going in soon I must minimise the
masses as soon as I can.    
Other methods which are out include:
	Beer.....my dog drinks it
	Geese/Ducks...messy on the patio, and dog likes to snack
	Salt.......bad for soil conditions
	357 magnum.....wakes up neighbors
	Napalm.......not bad, but tough on the lawn

Any creative thinkers out there?
