Unix eats resources (particularly swap devices, as previous writers on Unix for personal computers have noted), and I can't afford to feed it. I'd *far* rather see become prevalent an operating system that makes better use of the available resources while providing much of the functionality of Unix, such as, say, Microware's OS-9 operating system (especially if they move it to the 68000).
