There are 2 unix modem programs out there. Umodem, which I didn't write. It has tons of options and is a @i(large) piece of code - also, I have been told by someone that they tried to use compile it on their flavor of unix, and it didn't work. There is also Tmodem, which is my program. It is a program in the unix style - it does one thing (transfer files), and it does it well. It will send files up or down and that's it. Two options. It is meant to transfer binaries from unix to cp/m. It has been under heavy use by a number of people, and I've ported it to everything from a vanilla v7 to berkeley 4.1.
