The patches don't buy you much because all the old problems with the compiler are still there. Has anyone heard when Version 3.0, which is supposed to be ready from Microsoft now, will be released by IBM? Also we are having problems creating a library of programs using the compiler. It appears that there is no provision for creating such a beast. Plenty of info. on how to link user libraries but none on creation. Has anyone any experience with Supersoft's FORTRAN compiler which is now available for DOS?
