I know of two companies that make boards with IEEE 488 interfaces on
them.  These are Tecmar (23600 Mercantile Road, Cleveland OH 44122)
(order # 20030, $395. list) and Ziatech Corp. (3433 Roberto Court, San
Luis Obispo CA 93401) (ZT 1488 board is $485; software is $35).

The College of Marine Studies at the University of Delaware is using
the Tecmar board to connect to a laser doppler instrument.
