Unless you have the appropriate Unix source licenses for your IBM-PC,
porting of Nroff would be completely illegal, period.

Remember that the nroff sources you currently have are via a Unix
source license FOR A PARTICULAR LICENSED CPU -- having access to Unix
sources or object code does not give you automatic permission to use
them on other cpu's.
