Subscription rates (as of 6 months ago, when I got my introductory issue with
my zx-81 kit) are: $16 for 6 (a year), $30 for 12, and $42 for 18 issues.

I think they probably take subscriptions at their P.O. box because that is 
what's on the business reply cards in the mag, but for your info here is their

Advertised in my issue of Sync is a modem for $99.95, including RS-232 port.
That's for the kit version.  Assembled it costs $119.95.  It's made by
a company called Byte-Back.  Their address is:

There is a $4.95 shipping and handling charge.  Their number for orders is
(803)-532-5812.  I don't know if the modem is set up specifically for the
ZX/TS, but it would be silly of them to advertise it in this mag if it weren't.
I also don't know if it comes with terminal emulation software, but that
would also be silly of them to sell the things without it.  Personally, I'd
call and get more details about the thing before shelling out any dough.
