How about starting the following groups:

o net.socks

o net.steetlights

o net.weird

o net.wierd

o net.weeerd

o net.pogo

o net.flames_to_this_message

o net.flames_to_flames_to_this_message

o net.flames_to_the_naive_user_who_actually_starts_one_of_the_above_groups

And of course, we'll need net.news.revise to discuss how to make news handle
group names that are 80 characters long.
