	The definitive asnswer, once again, to the question "About whom
is  'You're So Vain' written?"  is Warren Beatty.  She said so herself.
At the time that the song was written,  James Taylor  was not really in
her life enough  to warrant the  attention,  and Mick Jagger  (the only
other  serious contender in  the rumor competition)  was ruled out when
Carly Simon  not only said that the song was not about Mick,  but asked
him to sing backup on it (he did).
