Let me speak

I want to shout to the world
To release the pain and anguish
Of times not so long past
I was within my self
Alone and feeling sorry for myself
For the disease I have, but did not wanted

But now I am better, I have seen worst
I will not die, for there is treatment
Strength has revitalized me, I see others
The world is more beautiful, I love life
What was is past, I must live fully
I have awaken to time left behind

My life is different, new and full
I am better then before, freer
Found in myself is a newness
Of strength and happiness, unknown
Life is so much more worth living
I will build my own tomorrows.
