The Indigo Buntings at my house yesterday turned out to be 2 male and 3 female. They were still feeding this morning. (# 144 for NJ 1983). Also this morning there were two Rufus-sided Towhees (1 male, 1 female), for # 145. At noon today at Holmdel (Bell Labs) there was a Prairie Warbler (# 146), a pair of Eastern Meadowlarks, a Broad- winged Hawk (# 147 for NJ in 1983, a new record for Bell Labs), a Red-tailed Hawk, plus a Great Horned Owl (also new for Bell Labs) being chased by a dozen crows.
