   1983's National Nude Day will be July 9 with July 10, Sunday,
the rain date. Most naturist free beach groups, and an increasing
number of clubs, are celebrating the annual date with outings
on public lands, beaches, and rivers.
   National Nude Weekend was originally held at Cape Cod National
Seashore in the struggle to keep that beach open for skinnydipping.
It has spread since 1975 to be a national holiday among nudists
and naturists, and in 1983 for the first time, the American
Sunbathing Association joins in observing the event.
