I don't know the difference between high and low temp. tungsten, but I do know VR 1000 was designed for daylight. A Pop Photo review said that VR 1000 didn't have the color range to take pictures in tungsten light and allow for color correction in printing. They said that VR 100 and VR 200, which will come out later this year, will be much better in that respect.
