At one point I was "attached", and pursued by someone
else, and was glad of it.  I had been hanging on to an
outdated relationship that had gone nowhere for a long while
just for the company.  I really appreciated the interest
of the other party, and ended up becoming attached to him.
So, my advice is, don't just forget about it because you
assume the other person isn't interested.
