Probably the best thing to do is to ask the woman if the first relationship prevents her from building another relationship with you, and if she says yes, leave it at that. I personally have had the experience of being on the other side of the wall (so to speak) -- having a non-exclusive, non-sexual friendship with a man being mistaken for something more by other men. It can be very frustrating when everybody assumes you're "attached" when you're really not...
