  In addition to Andy's comments I would like to add my own view on
this situation.  If this newsgroup is supposed to be a serious one, it
sure doesn't seem that way.  One solution to this dilemna would involve
the creation of another group for 'funny.singles' and assume that
the current group is a 'serious' one.  However, every once in a while
the subscribers of this 'serious' group should be reminded of this fact
less they forget and start making 'funnies' agaan
The above suggestion should definitely be discussed among the current
net.singles subscribers.
