I don't know about college parties any more (I've been out for a while), but ALL of my parties include non-alcoholic beverages and a fair amount of teetotalers (or people who might have a drink but will not get drunk, myself included). Try getting your courage up and having a 'theme' party. That way, people are concentrating on something specific and are not as likely to miss alcohol. Usually, the only thing to do at a party is to drink, so give 'em something else to do. Adult parties with "children's" themes are always fun if you can get your guests to lose their self-consciousness (for instance, we're planning a "puzzle and game" party in the near future, to which every guest must bring a favorite board game or jigsaw puzzle). It doesn't have to be so structured, but you get the idea. Hang in there! (By the way, when I was in college I would have sold my soul for a guy that didn't drink!)
