	I don't mind a survey, but I don't want someone flamed out by
2E27 readers for bringing up a (gasp) new subject.
	 I've got a great idea.  Let's just keep using the 'n' key,
ignore name calling, pass over articles that we don't like, or
send mail to the perpetrator, and keep on having a bit of discussion in this
group.  
	One of the few things that can be said for this newsgroup is that it
is more than 10% complaints, which appears to be far better than the net's
average.   Let's keep it this way!
	The only thing I would like to keep out of this newsgroup is
name calling.  Discussions and arguements might, although I admit I's
stretching things a bit, actually help some of the onlookers.  (I'm
a believer in the theory that social competition and argument are
beneficial to none of the participants, even the supposed winner.)
	<Speaking of subjects for discussion, how's that last
sentence sound? I'll even argue about it, since the whole net
thinks I like to do that.  foo>
	Keep those cards and letters going, folks.

P.S..  Val, I think all the reaction is just hysterical.
I suspect it's because netnews junkies have no other social life.
