The signal strength of messages reaching a 64-meter Deep Space
Network antenna from the distant spacecraft is 1.7 X 10-20 w.
or 167.7 db. below 1 milliwatt.  The one-way travel time for a
signal from the spacecraft...is 4 hr. 16 min....
Pioneer's primary function now is to provide information about the
solar wind at distances of and beyond the remote outer planets.
