Title: Enhanced ex tags

I'm looking for a modified version of "ex" which will let me give a regular
expression as the argument to the :tag command.  It would be nice if it set
things up like :next.  I haven't heard of such modifications, but I thought
I'd ask before I got my feet wet.  Thanks in advance.
