Hope this helps. mhuxt!hstrop >From eagle!harpo!ihps3!ihuxi!cjy Fri Aug 13 14:27:11 1982 Subject: More on iced tea recipes Newsgroups: net.cooks In response to Mark Mortensen's request for an iced tea recipe that tastes like the ones you get in a bar, I called the American Bartender's School in Chicago for the recipe that a professional would mix. The following is what I was told over the phone........ Iced Tea ( Also called New England Iced Tea or Long Island Iced Tea ) Take a tall glass ( 10 oz. or so ) and put in some cubed ice. Some bars mix the ingredients, others just pour them over the ice. Ingredients: 1/2 oz. Gin 1/2 oz. Vodka 1/2 oz. Rum 1/2 oz. Tequilla 1/2 oz. Triple Sec 1/2 oz. Whiskey sour mix Fill the rest of the glass with Coke ( 3/4 to 1 oz. ). From the looks of things above, one of these on a hot day would really put you in dreamland! Enjoy!
