I should like to get some information on roughly how many Canadians
are being trained in AI, or have a Ph.D. in AI and are not now working
in Canada. If you are a Canadian Ph.D. or graduate student working
outside of Canada, could you let me know what influenced you to
leave Canada either for employment or for graduate school? I should
also like to know something of the numbers of AI student presently
in Canadian Universities, and their expectations following graduation.
In case this doesn't get to the right people outside of Canada,
I should be grateful for information from anyone who knows of AI
students or Ph.Ds who are now working outside the country.
Information about Master's level students would also be welcome.
