DecTalk was developed with the extensive assistance of Dennis Klatt, and is the result of about 15 years of Dennis' research here at MIT. It was originally a program running on a PDP-9 computer, originally in building 20, and later on the fifth floor of building 36. I'm sure Martin Minow may have had a lot to do with making it a product, but I think it's important to get these stories straight.
