Lines: 13 I would guess that most people seldom change the settings of their equalizers. I believe I would not, and for this reason have never considered buying one. The one in my car has been changed almost not at all since I found my favorite settings. Also, remember that they represent just one more distortion introducing link in the chain. One thing I've found useful for altering frequency response according to need is the dolby switch on my tapedeck. Often when the listening area fills with (high frequency absorbing) people, I will switch out the play- back dolby correction to boost the highs a bit. ihldt!dbg
