I have a 1982 Audi Coupe - the front wheels are continuously turning black
with dust from the disc brakes.  I've found no easy way to keep the alloy
wheels clean.  The best I've been able to do is EVERY WEEK go in with
brush and some semi-gritty cleaner (would you belive AJAX cleanser?).
It's just a pain, I'm probably ruining the wheels, etc.  Apparently many
VW/Audi/Porsche owners have the same problem.  Any hints?
