We stood on the roof of his apartment building, and listened to the almost constant crackle of fireworks all over the neighborhood. I soon realized if I said, at some *random* time, "Here comes a BIG one!", within a reasonable amount of time a BIG one would go off somewhere nearby. Could a billboard be set up to detect the presence of on-coming cars, and tell every Nth one "You're going too fast" with a reasonable chance of being right?
