I'm looking for an out-of-the-way airport for a relaxing weekend with
the airplane, my sleeping bag, three books, and me.  Ideally, it'll be a
turf runway, unlighted, unattended.  The place should be moderately cool
(i.e. not in the Central Valley of California), within about 4 hours VFR
flying in a 172 from the San Fransisco Bay Area, and preferrably in the
mountain foothills (i.e. not over a large mountain range).

Any suggestions?  I expect that California, Oregon, and Nevada pretty
much cover the states that might fit the above.  If you know of a place
that almost fits my dream, let me know -- it may be as close as we can
come in this age of VASIs, REILs, TCAs, and ILSs (all valuable in their
places, admittedly, but.....).
