Last night, while zipping along on my bike, the pedal broke off,
almost maiming me intensely.  A strange occurance; I have never
heard of the like...has anyone else heard of this occuring during
a reasonably mild ride?  (I have a Centurion, about 5 months old,
and take impeccable care of it...)
