Message-ID: <410@houxf.UUCP> Date: Wed, 17-Aug-83 20:56:47 EDT Article-I.D.: houxf.410 Posted: Wed Aug 17 20:56:47 1983 Date-Received: Thu, 18-Aug-83 11:02:36 EDT Organization: Bell Labs, Holmdel NJ Lines: 9 I am bring up 4.1BSD on a VAX by modifying another (working) system. I tried to name the system "HO95C" in the config-file, and /etc/config accused me of all kinds of errors until I made the name non-numerical. Is there any way to include numbers in the name, or am I stuck naming the system "HONINEFIVEC" (for the purposes of the #defines in the kernal).
