I've found a number of restful character colors and backgrounds, such as white on olive, or white on purple, or light blue on black, but the sad fact is that I get tired of a particular color scheme after a while. It's great to be able to put up white characters on a red and black brick pattern, for example, or orange characters on a grey background; I find that I have more energy to continue at the terminal when I change the color scheme. Sorry if this sounds like a 4105 ad, Ken Rhodes
